Information for natural therapy providers

ARHG Accreditation

To be registered as a natural therapy provider with Union Health, you will need to be a registered provider with the Australian Regional Health Group (ARHG). Please refer to the ARHG website for further details. Union Health is not able to pay a benefit until you have been accredited by the ARHG. 

Clinical record keeping

Maintaining adequate and appropriate records is a legislative requirement under the National Code of Conduct for Health Care Workers.  

To remain health fund compliant, therapists must maintain clinical records for each client and every consultation. At a minimum, clinical records must stipulate the medical condition requiring ongoing treatment, the patient’s clinical goals, recorded results and anticipated end date of the treatment.
